Petit Balmat is a Chalet Apartment comprising of the left-hand side of Chalet Balmat. This beautiful new build has all the charm of an older farmhouse and can comfortably host 8 guests, with exclusive access to a gorgeous exterior bubbling hot tub beyond the wooden deck.
This stunning new build, sets a benchmark in design in The Grand Massif. The interior is finished to an extremely high standard - with vintage design cues and a rustic mountain edge, Balmat seeks to provide the most authentic of alpine experiences with a full package of modern amenities. It is named after Jacques Balmat, the famous local mountain guide who completed the first successful ascent of Mont Blanc in 1786.
Situated 2km above the village of Morillon, just a few minutes drive from the ski lift connecting you to the entire Grand Massif domain, namely Samoens, Flaine and Sixt Fer-a-Cheval. This home provides you with a tranquil haven with incredible views, away from the hustle and bustle of the village below, yet close enough that guests can easily access restaurants, cafés and bars nearby.
This wonderful chalet comfortably sleeps 8 in beds and upon request, all rooms have the possibility of being set up as a twin bedroom or a super king double. Two bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms and two of the smaller bedrooms share a well-sized shower room.

Petit Balmat is located above Morillon village and within a practical distance to the ski lift. The location is perfect for privacy and to enjoy an authentic mountain experience. It takes less than 10 minutes by car to reach the ‘Telecabine de Morillon’ lift connecting you to the Grand Massif ski domain in winter, which boasts some of the best skiing in the world. Suitable for all levels, there is over 275km of piste and 139 slopes to explore and plenty of off-piste for more advanced skiers. In the summer, this area is a hub for adventure sports such as hiking, mountain biking, climbing and paragliding.
